maytag neptune washer will not unlock
I had a problem 2 years ago with my Maytag Neptune Washer MAH3000AWW. The wax motor caused the main PCB to burn out on the R11 circuit. I replaced that board with a brand new one and the functionality of the washer came back. When I installed the new PCB I also installed a .5A inline fuse on the wax motor as described around the various internet boards in order to prevent the PCB from burning out again.

About one month ago the fuse burned out, I replaced the fuse and that too burned out. Upon further investigation I found the wax motor to have burned out. I took the wax motor off the Bleach dispensary and put it on the door lock. I don't use bleach anyway. The machine worked but it never unlocked. I had to pull the ripcord from the detergent area every time in order to release the tension off the spring.

I install the new wax motor today and the same thing is happening as before. The machine will lock the door, engage the serrated lock mechanism, hit the high speed on the spin but when it comes time that the cycle has finished there is no auditory signal nor does the "Door locked" bulb shut off, also goes without saying that the door will not open.

I had the cover open and I checked the terminals on the wax motor and it still had 120v across. I push the Start/Stop button on the main panel and something makes a CLOCK, and the ON button shuts off, momentarily, the door is unlocked.

What is supplying the door lock with electricity? Is it getting juice from the Start/Stop button? Is there a burned circuit somewhere that controls the auditory signal as well as the wax motor to disengage?

I have checked the PCB and nothing is burned on it. Everything there is as I installed it.

I hope to find the faulty part, otherwise I will install an On/Off switch in the control panel and run two wires to the wax motor in order to kill the current on the wax motor.

I can do anything you need me to on the machine, not afraid of values or electricity. Used to work in a laundromat and I swear that A30 models of Maytag were a cinch to work on, everything was straight forward and simple. All these wires are just a headache.
