Goodman GMP125-5 REV B exshaust fan stuck.
When I first turn on central heat. The heater starts up but the exshaust fan seems to be struck and all you hear is a loud whine. If I manually spin it, it will start to work, but if it stays off awhile it will stick again.
Can I change the fan myself? I see three screws and two wires seems simple. |

I have a GMP 125-5 Changed hi limit and board. Soon as it is powered up the blower comes on even with the T-stat in the Off position
My goodman gmp125-5 won't start up. The fan motor runs for a second, then stops. The furnace does not go through the rest of it's cycle. Occasionally it starts and runs once or twice, then stops working for a day or so.
Yesterday replaced the gas valve; today furnace worked a few times, now flames will not ignite; furnace attempts to turn on burners when it doesn't, it cycles off and give me 9 (nine) blinks. I'm thinking mother board; still trying to narrow down problem. Any suggestions?
I have a goodman gmp-125-5. The igniter ignites but the gas valve doesn't turn on. How do I trouble shoot to determine the problem ? I get a slow blinking light that I interpret to be a "1" on the mother board indicating a problem with ignition.
