TRANE ON FIRE! Major malfunction - White Rodgers
TRANE Furnace on fire!
Less than 3 year old furnace. See photos of control board. Lucky I was home to shut down when the smoke and burning smell appeared. Notice White Rodgers part is made in China. Part failure is one thing, Parts igniting in my family's home is dangerous and outrageous. Parts/furnace on fire on a gas fired appliance just 15 feet from my bed is too scary! What caused this? Recall issued yet? Thanks, |

We have a very old white roger thermostat for our gas furnace and are replacing it with a honeywell rth2310. Our current thermostat only has two wire one balck and the other white. Where do I make the connections.
