Let Henry's age be h and Daisy's age be d.

    Half of Henry's age; h/2
    added to Daisy's age; h/2 + d
    is 11 years; h/2 + d = 11

Six years from now, Henry will be h+6 years
    Daisy will be d + 6 years.
    The sum of their ages will be 40; (h+6) + (d + 6) = 40

You have two equations with two unknowns. Can you get the answer?

    And post it here? :)
