    Tapcon screws 3/16 by 1" 3/4
When you drill 3/16 hole in the cement block with a hammer drill for the tapcon screw
Do you drill the entire length of the screw, or just a pilot hole to get it started ?
I was worried about it gripping?

Drill to the depth of the screw or until you are inside the blocks cavity.
