    91 honda civic
I have a 91 honda civic hatchback DX. I just recently changed my fuel pump due to bad pump. Now car starts fine but when I started driving it the engine dies/stop every every time I accelerate. 1st to 2nd gear. Also if the car is on idle for awhile the engine dies. I can hear the pump turning on when I turn the key on. Please advise.

Replacing the Ignition Control Module (ICM) and coil will likely solve the problem:

Gas tank isn't sealed or fuel filter is bad or dirty, trash in the lines and fuel rail, fuel presser regulator or bad injector or fuel rail needs bleeding. It could be a few things it sounds like the cylinders aren't getting a steady flow of fuel.
