How do I know if I need to replace my air condition evaporator coil
The pipe running from my air condition in my attic to the outside was leaking which is usually a sign that the main line is clogged. But the repairman told me that this time the leak is due to my evaporator coil and I need a new one. Could this be true?

Hi, I have a used furnace with a 5 ton evaporative coil on it. I want to connect it to a 3.5 ton compressor. Any potential problems? Seems like it would be slightly more efficient. llama
