    Evaporator coil frizes only on 1/2 the coil, why?
    Refrigearator evap coil is only frizing on 1/2 of coils, can you tell me why?

    Improper metering device or defective metering device.
    Low refrigerant charge.
    Lack of proper air movement across coil.
    Outside unit running in Low ambiant conditions outside.

    There can be other reasons but you will need to do a superheat or subcooling calculation to pin point the problem.

I need to find a replacement evaporator coil for a Borg Warner heater/ac unit, model M1UF032AA. Other numbers on the tag are File: LR49965 and 409G. The ac runs and cools but the water collection frame leaks. Any ideas about finding something equivalent? Thanks.

Most systems show the evaporator coil after the blower, however, some air handlers show a configuration where it is before the blower. I don't have enough room above my vertical furnace to put an A coil. Would a horizontal coil between the filter and blower work?
