    Toyota 4 runner 1991 3.0
    I installed a new motor 1993 3.0 in my toyo 1991, but I having problems with it the problem is when It is cool It didn't start well until I press the gas pedal several times. after it runs OK I can start it without any problem, I would like to know what is causing the problem, Thanks

    See If the cold start injector is spraying in crank position. Do you know how to check that?

    Check/replace the Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) Sensor. Easy job.

    ECT Sensors affect fuel injector pulse width. They are a temperature dependent resistor (thermistor), whose resistance decreases as the engine coolant temperature increases. They provide a richer mixture when cold, leaner mixture when hot.
