    Yes, there are not really "squatters laws" any longer, there are other laws, that allow you access to your property, the ability if you retain use of property for many years 15 or more depending on state, to attempt to gain ownership ( but the requirements are very strict normally)

    So tell us what is happening, since people come here and call any and everyone a squatter from renters, to family members who will not leave and more
