    Squatters rights Florida
    Been living in a condo for about 2 years, been receiving mail, paying association dues out of my pocket, just found out they are going to foreclose soon. I am not the owner what are my rights , and what time frame do I legally have to stay

    Hello z:

    You'd be considered the tenant. As such, and at a minimum, you'd be given 30 days notice once the foreclosure occurs.

    Thanks, how would I know when the process begins, do they have to post it on my door by a sheriff, how long does it usually take

    Hello again, z:

    I'm sure they'll deliver it, mail it, AND probably post it on your door... But, it's not a process. It's a notice to vacate. If you don't vacate, that's when the eviction process begins.

    If the landlord is efficient, he can have the sheriff put you out, say three weeks after he files for eviction.
