    Moen Diverter Leaking
I have a Moen Vertical Spa system (Monticello) that just started leaking water through the 5 function diverter (3530). I took the unit apart and suspect (not positive) that the o-rings are shot that are attached to the end of the stem. I tried finding 'like kind' replacement parts at my local hardware... but water is still leaking around the stem. Does anyone know what size these o-rings are? I purchased 1/4" ID x 3/8" OD... and they looked to be just a little too small... but the 7/16" OD seemed way too big. My hardware store did not have metric o-rings... but I suspect they may be metric or some obscure size they did not carry in standard units. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks, Dan

Call Moen, they will send you the replacement parts for free.

Dear robdanfunk, go to www.moen.com. Look up your Monticello Verticle Spa and it will give you a break down of the parts needed for your unit. You may have to order it through Moen if you can't find what you need at a local hardware store.

I looked at the parts schematic for the Monticello Verticle Spa and it looks to me as though it takes a cartridge, which often times means you need a special puller to remove. You can generally get these at Home Depot enexpensively.

You can get back to me if you have any further questions.

Thank you both... I called Moen and they sent me a cartridge. I replaced it and everything works great again!

I have a 12 year old Moen single lever faucet in my kitchen. About one week ago, it started showing signs of a problem.
