    1993 buick skylark power steering pump
    Why dose my car die when I turn my wheel sharp. I put in a new power string pump on

    See if your car has a power steering pressure (PSP) switch, mounted on the auxiliary actuator of the steering gear. When steering system pressure reaches a high-pressure setpoint, the PSP switch opens and sends a signal to the PCM that the PCM uses to maintain engine idle speed. You may want to check for codes.
