    1993 buick skylark How do I retrieve trouble codes without scanner
    I heard that you can scan with two wires is that true. I don't want to buy a scanner because I want to sell the car when I fix it .

    Locate the Service Check Connector. If I remember correctly, jump terminals A and B and then turn the ignition switch to ON. Best to consult a Haynes or Chilton Manual.
