My toilet flange is too tall from the floor to the top of the flange is 3/4 inch and when I set my toilet it rocks .I want to level the floor to bring it up a little and put tile down but I don't know how far the flange needs to be sticking out

    Hi Nanazz..

    The answer is a range...

The bottom of the toilet flange needs to sit right on top of the finished floor (best way) or the top of the flange can be flush with the finished floor... either works fine, but both ways require that you secure the closet flange firmly so you can secure the toilet properly.

    Nanazz...

Describe how you plan to do the floor, OK...

What will be under the floor leveler?

How thick will you pour the floor leveler?

    Why not install cement board?

    Back to you...
