    engine number for a murray rider model 42828X8A
    I have a Murray rider 16hp that needs a carb. Parts place say I need a Engine number. I told them the model # 42828x8A but can not find engine #.

    Hi,
    Best I can tell it is a Tecumseh OHV16-20421IC.
