York A/C fan comes on for 10 minutes then shuts off?

My York A/C Model #D1NP036N05606A fan comes on for only 2-3 minutes and then shuts off, but I can hear another motor continuing to run (compressor? ). During this time, there is no cool air coming from the vents.
