    Engine coolant disapearing
    No leaks, maybe radiator cap. 1997 dodge ram 2500, v10

    Was the system pressure checked for leaks? Is the head gasket OK? Sometimes you can have a slow leak under pressure and depending on where it lands it can evaporate quickly so its never seen. How much fluid are you losing?

Thanks for your reply txgreasemonkey. Now should the new sensor come with a new o-ring and the space is very tight where the sensor is located. Any tips to removing and replacing without cracking my knuckles to death?

I have a 97 Cev cavalier and it slowly consumes engine coolant. The leak apperas to be coming from the head gasket but its external only. Is there some sealant that I can apply externally to stop the leak?
