The best I have used so far have been the ones you use yourself.

No company out there has been up to snuff,OK,maybe Service Master, but that was years ago.

Of late I have used my friends Hoover system,it seems adequate.A simple upright with small spinning brushes, very strong vacuum and OK as far as clean-up when done(it seems the pet hairs can make for a small project in themselves when you have to clean the top/face out),but for the most part,I like it enough.

I would guess that the one you need would have to 'fit the need'.If you are going to be doing small rooms, daily use rooms, heavy traffic areas, once a month stuff, furniture,so many needs and many machines to use.

Don't waste your money on some fancy system though, they are for the showy professionals who can service them without breaking the bank.

    Just my humble opinion.
