    Painful ear after shampooing
    After shampooing my hair I am experiencing pain in my ear lubricating with cream seems to help. What can this be

    First possibility would be "Swimmer's Ear," which is a vapor lock of liquid in the ear canal and can cause pain from overpressure and provide a breeding ground for infections which can also cause pain.

    Pick up some "Sweet oil" at the pharmacy. It's a light mineral oil to open the vapor lock.

    If that doesn't provide some relief it's time to make an appointment with your Doctor.
