    Bryant furnace starts then stops
My Bryant forced hot air furnace gets the signal to ignite, the pilot light and then the furnace lights but it goes out in a few seconds. This will happen over and over and then occasionally it might stay lit and warm the house. Any ideas of what this could be and how to fix it.

    Much appreciated.

Replace the circuit board, they are known to be the problem.

I would try cleaning the flame roll out switch before blowing the big bucks on a board.

There is a flame sensor, it is a wire looking thing sticking up in the flame on the burner to the far left. It has a ceramic base. Take this out and sand paper the wire... do not bend it or the ceramic will break... Let me know if this helps.

Hello, I have a Bryant furnace. It Keeps flashing code 13 on the circuit board. I read the code and it says that the switch will reset after 3 hours. It also refers me to # 33 which gives more possibilities as to what the problem may be. However it does say to reset the limit or flame roll out...

1990 Honda Accord starts, warms up, and stops [ 2 Answers ]

I have a 1990 Accord that starts in the morning just fine, warms up for about 6 to 8 minutes, and then stops (tach bounces around just before it dies). After it stops, it will not start right away. If I wait 2 to 3 minutes, the car starts again (normally) and runs fine the rest of the day with no...

Furnace-Yellow terminal not connected-A/C starts stops [ 3 Answers ]

I have a 1988 Rheem RGDA-125-ER furnace. I noticed over the summer that the A/C, when switched to cool, would come on and then immediately switch off if the set temp was higher than the room temp. If I programmed the set temp far below room temp and then switched on, it would run normally and I...

1988 Honda Civic DX - Starts & Stops [ 3 Answers ]

I'm having problems getting my Civic to run consistently. It will run for about 3-4 miles and then stall out and won't start again until it cools off for a couple of hours. When I try to restart it, it sounds like it's going to start but it just won't go all the way. It goes through more coolant...
