1990 Honda Accord starts, warms up, and stops
I have a 1990 Accord that starts in the morning just fine, warms up for about 6 to 8 minutes, and then stops (tach bounces around just before it dies). After it stops, it will not start right away. If I wait 2 to 3 minutes, the car starts again (normally) and runs fine the rest of the day with no further problems. If the car is driven everyday, many mornings I do not have the problem; however, if the car is not driven for a day or so, the very next morning I have the same start and stop problem. It also appears that the colder it gets the more consistent the problem (for example, I did not have this problem very often during the summer, but it is getting more consistent/often now that the nights are cooler). Anyone know what this problem could be and how to fix it?

Test/replace igniter--many auto part stores will test for free.

It's located inside the distributor and should look like:

Be sure to coat back of igniter and terminals with silicone dielectric grease, regardless of whether you are reinstalling or replacing igniter. Silicone grease is normally included with a new igniter.

Check the main relay under the drivers side dash. Do a GOOGLE search on 91 accord main relay.
