    a/c thermostat has no power. There is no battery on the thermostat unit, what should I check? Can it be bad thermostat? Ut side breaker is been reset

    If you have no power to the stat and now battrie then the furnace is not sending 24 volts to the stat.

    Thanks, I took stst out from the wall and between Blue and red line reads 26 on the meter, it's that mean I am getting 24 volt from the furnace and can be a bad stat?

    Yes you have voltage to the stat. if blue is on c

    Put a jumper form r to g and see if the fan comes on

    OK... thanks for your help. I will try that, what if fan comes on? That means the faulty stat?

    What if fan doesn't turn on?

    You can test r to g for fan
    R to w for heat
    R to y for cool

    If all works you need a new stat. if they do not work then you have other problems we will have to figure out
