    Choosing new central heating/ac unit?
I'm currently looking to replace my existing heating/ac system. (units only) I currently have a 3.5 ton ac w/gas furnace. I reside in Florida. I'm considering a 3.5 ton heat pump. The two manufactures I'm considering are a 3.5 ton 15 seer Trane XR15 heat pump with back-up elec. Strip or Carrier Comfort series 15 3.5 ton, 16.25 seer heat pump using a Carrier Performance variable speed air handler w/elec. Strip back up heat. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Both manufactures make good units. The install is always more important than anything else so click on the item below to help you choose your contractor. Always get more that 2 estimates from different contractors.
