Toilet handle leak

My toilet leaks at handle hole, how do I lower water level?

Please remove the toilet tank lid and check which type of fill will do you see, see the images, Thanks.

My shower-only symmons handle is leaking. A couple of months ago the shower head leaked, I took off handle, and replaced hot washer, and leak stopped. Now water comes out of handle. Hot, cold, o-ring replacement were all suggested. Which one and how is it done? Thanks!
