    Starter Motor
    Hello, I've recently installed a new starter motor in my Audi A3. It came with a brass cylindrical tube that fits over the end of the starter. When I took out the old one I left the brass tube in the housing anD am using it with the new starter. The brass cylindrical tube is the same with both starters. Is this likely to cause a problem with the new starter?

I have done all tests on switch solenoid and by passed these and the starter mower will take off but when it engages to flywheel it seems to stop turning... the flywheel is not hard to turn therefore I'm thinking it still might be starter... the starter turns...
