Hampton Bay Ceiling light/fan will not turn on
I have a combination Hampton Bay ceiling fixture with fan. It has remote to turn the light on or off, fan on or off... there are two pull chains, one in the very center of the fixture, one on the section above the lights. I know power is getting to the unit... everything else in the room (including this computer) is functioning fine. I can not turn on the light either from the switch or the remote nor the fan. I have pulled the chains but nothing is happening. Does anyone have any ideas what is wrong?

I agree with the above questions.

Best thing to do is open the fan at the ceiling, remove the receiver, wire the fan with it, make sure it works with the chains.
