Puppy ears
Our Female Chihuahua Puppy is almost 5 months old, she is AKC registered but her ears still do not stand up; is that something to worry about?

In some cases they may never stand up. This means the muscles haven't developed properly... They are usually erect at around 8 weeks old but they can droop during teething. |

So I know you are supposed to clean a puppy's ears regularly. I've been trying to do that.. but my puppy hates it. He would not let me touch his ears for more than a sec. he keeps wiggling his head around and then when I try to just hold him still... he tries to bite. What shoud I do?

When does a chi pups ears both stand up erect and stay up. Mine is 5 months and they can't make up their mind.. Once there up, then down, now one is up and one is down.. What gives... Is there a set time... I heard that teething could cause this... anyone know? :confused:
