    Toilet bowl not flushing correctly
I have recently started having trouble with my toilet. I have tried cleaning out the little holes under the seat, and cleaning out the little jet thing; and it still doesn't flush correctly, it fills up to the very top of the bowl but then just drains out slowly and doesn't "flush".

Sounds like you may have a clog in the bowl. Purchase a closet auger (see image) and auger the bowl. If that doesn't get it click on back and we'll proceed to plan "B". Tom

Thanks for the quick response unfortunately I fixed the problem. I turned off the water and let the bowl soak in CLR for the night, woke up and it worked great. Thank you anyway.

Kudos for fixing your problem! You had a either a blocked jet or so much mineral built up in the trap it stopped the siphon action. Good luck in the future, Tom

Toilet bowl not flushing/filling [ 3 Answers ]

Our toilet just started to not flush right. It will fill the bowl with water and slowly drain out and when it drains all the way it gurgles and then the bowl dose not fill back up.
