    Looking for a children's movie fom early 80's
    This movie has a little girl walking through the woods with an aimated horse & I can't remember if the girl is animated or not. But at one point they are searching for food & water & the horse scratches the ground with its hoof & real water appears ,not animated. I know this is not a lot of info but that's all I remember I have been thinking abouth this movie for years. Help.

    I think I've cracked it...

    1985 Dot and the Kola- Fantasy adventures of a little redheaded girl and her animal friends in Australia. Live background and animated characters.

    There's also, The Moon Stallion or The elm chanted Forest.

    Check them out on Dot and the Koala (1985)
