    Washer hook up
If you only wash on the cold cold water setting do you have to hook up the hot water hose? This is on a Kenmore 80 Series

    Thanks,

Yes or hookup the hose and get a threaded plug for the other end of the hose. Sometimes water fill valves will leak back through to the hot water side. Around here they sell a brass hose bib cap with a washer and you screw it right on to the hot water side of the washing machine fill valve and not hook up the hose at all.
