tdetde-YOU will need to check the timer ,thermostat, and the START SWITCH also, )( TO TEST the timer ,disconnect one of the leads and clip meter probs to the terminals and ,TURN THE TIMER TO (NORMAL DRY) IF METER READS ( ZERO ) OHMS IT IS OK <IF IT READS HIGH IT IS DEFECTIVE- REPLACE:: TO TEST THE THERMOSTAT- DISCONNECT BOTH LEADS TO IT AND CLIP THE METER PROBS TO THE TERMINALS<TURN THERMOSTAT TO ANY SETTING EXCEPT FLUFF DRY <IF METER READS ( ZERO) IT IS OK IF IT READS HIGH <IT IS FAULTY - REPLACE ::TO TEST START SWITCH} DISCONNECT heavy wires to it <clip meter probs to the terminals ,press the switch button ,if meter reads (ZERO 0 ohms it is OK if it reads high it is defective; replaceREPLACE ALL WIRES YOU TOOK LOOSE:: Ihope this has helped you out, and the dryer is now working, IF I CAN BE OF ANY MORE <JUST HOLLER :GOOD DAY AND GOD BLESS :: F.B.E.
