    Frigidaire Dryer no heat
I have a frigidaire dryer model number FGR231AS2 that runs but no heat. The first symptom was that it ran all night 1 night. Since then I have lost heat except for 1 time when I changed the setting from high to low heat. Any suggestions? Also I tested the fuse accessible from the top and got 0 ohms.

That seems to indicate either a burned out switch or a burned out or failing thermo-switch.
Possibly even a burned out heater element.

    Warning :
FIRST disconnect the power lead from the socket, and put the cable on the ground in front of you : safety first!
Only after that is done you can safely do electrical measurements with a multimeter.

    Success!

Frigidaire dryer won't heat [ 1 Answers ]

My 2 year old Frigidaire dryer stopped heating but still runs. Thermostat, control thermistor and heater relay are all good. Fault codes are E5B (heater fault) and E9E (?).
