Replaced light fixtures and installed dimmer, no power to two rooms
I:confused: installed 5 ceiling fixtures (2bathrooms & 3 bedrooms) and a dimmer switch in one of the bedrooms. Now a bedroom and bathroom have no power. The bedroom with the dimmer switch works and I have pulled all the lights apart in search of any faulty connections. I have also rewired the dimmer switch and there is still no power to the bedroom and bathroom??

    A GFI may be tripped.
Check for power at switch box, wire may have come undone from a wirenut.
Check power out from all breakers

I agree with Strat and if the GFCI isn't tripped go to the first switch after the panel and start testing and following the power.

GFCI are not tripped. The bedroom with the dimmer has power, the bedroom and bathroom with no power are on the same breaker switch. I have pulled the dimmer out and power is flowing beyond the dimmer but does not reach the next room?

Either at or along the cable between the boxes you have an open connection.

Power is flowing beyond the dimmer. But to where? Is the white return line from the two rooms connected back to the main panel?

If the dimmer is working, the neutral is good back to the panel.

Did you connect to existing wiring? Perhaps you wired to a switch leg instead of a true circuit.. it's easy to do.
