Lights are dimmer after newly installed Harbor Breeze remote
    Hi All.

I just installed a Harbor Breeze remote to my already existing (came with the house) pull chain ceiling fan. The remote is the kind that replaces the light switch. All the functions are working properly except I noticed that the lights (2 60 Watt and 2 40 Watt) are now much dimmer, probably about half, than before I installed the remote. There is only one string on the fan, and that is to control the fan speed. The lights previously were all on or all off when the switch was flipped. The remote does not have a light dimmer option, just on or off, and is item # 103185. It says it has a max light watts of 300, max fan amp of 1.0, 120 volts / 60Hz. Could this be a case of a poor remote/receiver, improper installation or something else?

    Thanks.
