Wiring two electric baseboard heaters to one thermostat
I am replacing a electric thermostat, how do I wire one thermostat for 2 baseboard heaters. There is 2 pairs of 220 leads and two separate sets of wires coming from the baseboard heaters. I think one wire from each of the heaters have to be connected to the power wires but I don't know which ones, thanks for any help.

    So let's clarify.

You have two whites and two blacks as the feed in and feed out. Also in this box you have another two pairs of black and white. Each pair going to a separate heater?

Splice the line in and line out wires color for color. You will have a pair of whites spliced and a pair of blacks spliced. This is your L1 & L2 connection to the thermostat.

Do the same for the two heater cables. You will have the same two pairs of spliced wires, these are your T1 & T2 connections to the thermostat.
