    Well Pump Not Working
We had a hose leak in our shower and cut off the water pump at the breaker to repair the hose. When we turned the breaker on our water pump for our well will not cut back on. Any suggestions on what to do?

I assume that you have NO pressure right now. Likely there is a low pressure cutoff on the pressure switch for the pump. It is a little lever on the side of the pressure switch that will normally be horizontal. Lift it up about 45 degrees and hold it there until the pressure gauge reads around 20 lbs (I hope your gauge works!) then release it. If you lift it up to vertical it will shut the pump off. The pressure switch will take over from there.

Water Pump not working [ 2 Answers ]

We had cold weather and we lost our water. It still hasn't come back. We replaced a blown fuse but it still doesn't work. Does the pump come on even if it needs to be primed? It makes no sounds. Does this mean that the motor is burned out? Or do I just need to prime it? Thank you.

How to tell if circulating pump is working [ 2 Answers ]

I have and older Furnace with Hot water Cast Iron radiators (2 floor, 1300 sq ft house). Had to turn on furnace for first time over weekend and it took about 50 min to get the temp from 63 up to 66. The radiators heat unevenly and I was listening for the circulating pump to go on so I could bleed...
