    Single parent needs college tuition
    My sister is a single parent living in Missouri and she is trying to pursue a degree in RN and would like to know besides Financial Aids what other scholarships or grants that are out there for a single parent?

    She should check through the college she is attending, they should give a list for all of the grant and scholarship programs, as well as deadlines and requirements.

    Wilkinscadet,

    Your sister can try fastweb.com to search for available scholarships. There are various companies and organizations that will sponsor a deserving student. It is free to search and she can sign up for email alerts that match her needs.

    It is good that you are trying to help her out.
