    1992 Toyota Camry blows fuse
My 1992 Toyota Camry blows fuse # to the 10amp one for the guages, tach, heater etc.
After replacing the fuse everything works fine.
I then press the brake and push the button on the center console shifter Auto tranny to put in gear and the fuse blows right away heater stops etc.

    Any ideas??

It sounds like the Shift Lock Control ECU or the Shift Lock Solenoid have shorted to ground, or the harness leading to them...

Does the fuse go open when you are moving the shifter, or when you are just when you are pushing the button on the shift handle?
