    220 wiring to stove crossing plumbing.is it OK?
    Tearing apart the kitchen and after removing the sheet rock noticed that the 220 wire powering the range crosses behind the sink. So the hot/cold water lines and the main vent/sewage stack are all enclosed in the same space. Is this OK, doesn't seem right to inexperienced me. Should the 220 service be rewireed to avoid this cross up(which will cause a lot of tear out/work, but if it needs to be done it needs to be done) or is it OK?

    This is perfectly fine. Why doesn't it seem right to you? :confused:

    Just seemed improper to have wire crossing through a potential wet zone

    What make that a potential wet zone? I would hope it is a dry zone inside the walls.

    Are you worried about a pipe bursting? What about all the other places where pipes are?
