    Selling home
    Hello;
    I have a house in Maryland near Baltimore. I have had it on the market for 1 year now and I am getting bids $20-30K below what I owe on it. Can I sell the house for less than what I own and pay the Mortgage Company the remainder without hurting my Credit?:(

    To the best of my knowledge yes, as long as the debt is satisfied it will not effect your credit. Have you thought of doing a raffle on your house, or putting it on Ebay, if you are willing to take that much of a loss, try a creative way to sell your house and possibly not take as large of a loss.
