    Move out of state
    My ex moved to virginia , we lived in Ohio . Because he was in the navy he gave his visitation to his parents
    No I want to move to Nevada . Does anyone know if I will be able to move out of state or what I need to do in court to be able to move ?

    You can't "give" your custody rights to someone else. A Court can order a change in custody/visitation but a person can't just assign those rights to a third party.

    Judge might allow you to move or might not. If he's already in another State it might not make a difference. You might have to pay to transport the child for visitation. Hard to say.

    What does your Court order say - if it does.

    As Judy said, Visitation can't be given away. If there is a visitation order in place, you need to go to court for permission to move.
