I'd like to install a second 200 AMP panel in my basement (about 25 feet from the existing one), and then as I am rewiring the old, non-grounded wires, run the new wires to the new panel. Is this feasible, or do I just have to get an electrician to move the entire panel?

I have a house with a 200 amp service. All of the breakers are in use. I want to create a kitchen/washroom in my basement. I need enough amps for a washer/dryer, stove/refrigerator, 8-10 lights and plugins. I don't thing a 60amp double pole breaker is big enough, how do I install a 100amp subpanel?
