She will take care of everything, she is the mom here you know. Trust her judgment for the next 2 or 3 days and watch. You may have to take one that you see is not getting enough and nurse it yourself with a bottle. Important here is, and you will have to be strong. It is survival of the fitest, one may be far too weak to survive the nipple fight.

I provided infant formula called Similac and a baby bottle, sterilized of course and the one weak puppy thrived. But most importantly you can't bother mom and pups for a days until she works it out herself. Don't worry.

My dog is expecting and I've researched like crazy. I've learned that if the puppies are getting weaker, thinner, crying constantly, and are sucking on everything, chances are they are not getting enough. You would need to intervene. But give it until tomorrow and see if they are latching on more and crying less.

Hi becca, yes I agree! But we must encourage neutering too, don't you think. There are just too many puppies being brought into the world by people who just don't care and ask, what's going to happen to them after they are weaned. Right.

Of course I think everyone should spay/neuter their pets, but a lot of people don't and in case if someone takes in a pregnant dog or thinks "my dog can't get pregnant if I dont let her" and then suddenly they learn it doesn't work that way, they at least have proper information instead of being misinformed and hurting the mom and puppies.
I strongly encourage people to fix their beloved animals. I know from experience, my dog was due to be fixed in mid August, and two weeks before her appointment, she went into heat and the neighbors dog mated with my dog. My dog is now expecting. I am keeping the puppies.
