    Can I pay rent after the court date
    I got a court date for eviction. Once I go to the court date can I pay the rent once they give me a date to get out.

    Once you are in default the landlord is under no legal obligation to allow you to correct the fault (grounds for eviction) by paying the past rent.

    He/she may agree or may not but is under no legal obligation nor can the Court force the landlord to accept the rent and cure the fault.
