I don't understand what you want to do. If you install two chandeliers in the same place they will bump in to each other.

Sorry, can I run two different chains from the same ceiling spot or split the chain somehow? I need two different chandeliers at the top of the stairs in my house -- one to hang above the first landing and one to hang over a reading chair at the top of the stairs -- about 6 feet from each other. The existing fixture is mounted between the two spots where I want to hang the new fixtures, using long chains and ceiling hooks. I'm sorry. I know I couldn't be more vague. I am at a total loss for the appropriate language of lighting.

Thanks so much. This was the picture in my head; now I'm happy to know it's possible.

Re-wiring chandelier [ 1 Answers ]

I am re-wiring an eight light chandelier that was wired in a series. I would like a formula to figure the maximum wattage for a given wire, or the wire size required to obtain a certain maximum wattage. Would the formula also work if the chandelier was not wired in series?
