    Wiring on old chandelier
    I am hanging an old chandelier that has a white wire and a clear wire. Which one is the positive one?

    To be sure, continuity tester between wire and center of bulb holder, outer shell of bulb holder should have continuity with wire that goes to white.
    White may go to white, depends on person who wired fixture.
    The center is not positive, but the hot.
