Ceiling fan Hampton Bay with Remote.
I wired my ceiling box with two power sources bk / rd and two switches one for light and one for fan... is it possible to wire this remote fan without the remote. Whenever I wire it without the remote senser. The fan only runs in reverse. Is there a way to wire it to work forward. Without the remote... on a seprate fan switch.

There should be a small slide switch on the side of the housing to reverse the fan, find it and move it. Does that get it going in the correct direction. If you are never going to use the remote again you can remove the receiver and wire your light to the black and the fan to red both can share the same white neutral. Reversing red and black may be needed since I don't know which wall swicth operates the fan or light.

What model fan do you have, and does it have pullchains? Is the remote receiver in the canopy, and if so how many wires does it have?
