    My Whirlpool washer's cycle seems to get stuck in normal wash mode. Any ideas anyone?

    Confusing. Can you explain better. Where does it get stuck? Same place or nearly the same place? Conventional mechanical timer?

    -or-

    It just does normal washes and no gentle cycles?
