    Mirror or switch
    Ford edge power mirror will go up and down and out but not in.
    Is the problem in the mirror or the switch?

    It's not the switch if the other mirror moves 4 ways.

    Does it make noise when you try to move it in? If it does then switch is good. If it doesn't switch is bad. Can you push mirror in by hand? You should be able to, but u will hear some clicks when you do.

    Kitch:

    It could be the left-right switch which is usually an integral part of the mirror switch.

    Switch is probably more likely than motor though.

    Tru-dat! Forgot that part. I'll bet it's an open in the wiring.
